Lead Estimator

Client: We are partnered with a well-respected commercial builder known for delivering complex projects under CM at Risk. This group invests heavily in strong preconstruction leadership and maintains a culture focused on safety, quality, and long-term client relationships. Projects include: K-12, higher education, high-rise multifamily, hospitality, student housing, On Offer: Lead responsibility for budgets, estimates, and full pre-bid packages under GMP delivery. Ownership of quantity takeoffs, unit cost development, value analysis, and technical plan reviews. Direct involvement in subcontractor outreach, bid list creation, scope reviews, and proposal evaluations. Ability to manage multiple projects at once while maintaining accuracy and deadlines. Collaboration with operations and project management on constructability, procurement strategy, and early planning. Opportunity to mentor Estimators, interns, and junior staff. Broad exposure to building systems across all CSI divisions. Requirements: BS in Building Construction or Civil Engineering. 8 to 10 years of estimating or preconstruction experience within commercial construction. 2 years of experience supervising or mentoring other team members. Strong knowledge of civil, site, structural, interior finishes, exterior envelope systems, MEP systems, and related trades. Ability to identify constructability issues and value opportunities. Proficiency with estimating software, spreadsheets, online plan rooms, and common office tools. Strong planning skills to manage takeoff workload and multiple pursuits. Familiarity with Destini Estimator or similar software. #J-18808-Ljbffr
