About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with JEDY Network to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Rochester, New York, 14445!

**MUST HAVE NY LICENSE IN HAND - NO EXCEPTIONS**


Specialty: MS/Tele RN
Shift: 3x12 nights 7p - 7a
Weekend: Every other weekend
Floating: Required within skillset.
Locals: Must be 75 mile radius
Years of experience: 2 years minimum
Special requirement: Need to be able to take a 1:5 to 1:7 patient ratio for MedSurg
Cert: ACLS/BLS and NIH Required - Please include valid NIHSS in submittal
Charting: Must have EPIC experience


Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response: Interpretation of dysrhythmias,
Management of dysrhythmias, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams
IV therapy/Phlebotomy: Peripheral Line Care/Management
Respiratory: Nasal Cannula, Oxygen face masks, Portable Oxygen tank, Non-invasive airway management
Professional Topics and Skills: Isolation Precautions


The Acute Stroke Unit (7800) at Rochester General Hospital is a 39 bed combined unit that specializes in the care of the acute stroke patient and other neurological disorders as well as focuses on the care for the acute medical patient. The Acute Stroke unit practices an adjustable acuity delivery of care model providing evidenced based care to facilitate and optimize stroke care during the primary prevention and acute care phases of a stroke.
