Staff Software Engineer, Data Center Resource Modeling

Provide technical leadership on high-impact projects.Influence and coach a distributed team of engineers.Facilitate alignment and clarity across teams on goals, outcomes, and timelines.Assess impact to team software stack from new hardware product programs and explore AI driven process improvement and automation.Establish technology and product goals in collaboration with other tech leads, managers, partners, clients, and executive leadership. This platform is essential for managing the Google-wide fleet deployment planning and execution, and modeling hardware across all machine racks and internal components. It enables us to plan future capacity, monitor the data center hardware, and manage the life-cycle of machines in the datacenter at scale while reducing the total cost of operations. In this role, you will guide the architectural goal, define the team's roadmap and priorities, and deliver continued innovation and scalability for new hardware platforms while reducing the total cost of operations.The AI and Infrastructure team is redefining what’s possible.
