Distribution and Material Handler and Forklift Operator

Job Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and warehouse equipment safely
• Pick, move, store, and transfer materials throughout the warehouse
• Pack, label, and prepare products for shipment
• Complete inventory counts and material transactions
• Inspect inbound and outbound trailers
• Ensure products are properly identified, counted, and handled with care
• Follow stock rotation procedures and maintain organized inventory
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work environment
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food safety, and food defense procedures
• Observe material segregation requirements
• Follow all quality standards, work instructions, and safety policies
• Assist in other warehouse areas as needed

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or material handling experience preferred
• Forklift experience required
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to read and write legibly
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude
• Ability to recognize and address workplace issues responsibly

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and move throughout the shift
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment and perform physical labor as needed
