Landscape Maintenance Crew Member
$16 per hourFull-time
Low Maintenance Landscape
Responsibilities:
- Bed preparation, planting, mulching, and basic landscape maintenance.
- Operation of small engine equipment including chainsaws, pole saws, gas hedge trimmers, and rototillers.
- Communicate daily with Field Supervisor regarding daily schedule and progress.
- Help Field Supervisor with organizing crews, tools, and equipment, materials needed.
- As a member of the Landscape Maintenance Crew, ensure that work is completed at a quick pace while maintaining our high-quality standards.
- Attention to detail and safety.
Requirements:
- Be able/willing to work outside, occasionally in less than ideal weather conditions. (Rain, Cold, or extreme heat).
- Be able to do labor-intensive and repetitive tasks throughout an entire work shift. (repeated kneeling, squatting, bending and lifting).
- Have some knowledge in the maintenance of plants, landscape, and hardscape and a willingness to learn.
- Be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in written form.
- Be able to interact professionally with managers, coworkers, and customers.
- Be able to work both independently, and as part of a team.
- Be able to work Full-Time, typically M-F 8:00 am – 5:00 PM.
