• Location: West Sacramento, CA
• Employment Type: Permanent / Direct Hire
• Pay Rate: $43.00 – $52.00/hour (Based on experience) + Benefits
• Shift: Varied, 8-hour shifts
  

-> Schedule:

• Shift 1: Tuesday–Saturday, AM/Day
• Shift 2: Friday–Tuesday, AM/PM
• Weekend work may be required based on case volume and may constitute overtime.
• On-call: Required; details will be discussed during the interview.

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist – X-Ray to provide mobile diagnostic imaging services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other designated facilities throughout the service area.

This is a mobile position that offers variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to work with patients in different healthcare settings.

-> Key Responsibilities

• Perform mobile X-ray examinations using portable Digital Radiography (DR) or Computed Radiography (CR) equipment.
• Obtain clinically diagnostic and technically competent X-ray images.
• Transport and safely operate portable X-ray equipment within nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other assigned locations.
• Process and electronically transmit X-ray studies to Radiologists for interpretation.
• Perform EKGs, when required, and transmit results to Cardiologists for interpretation.
• Complete and scan exam-related paperwork and billing documentation according to established procedures.
• Maintain regular communication with dispatch and management.
• Communicate professionally and effectively with patients, facility staff, coworkers, supervisors, and clients.
• Maintain the assigned vehicle and X-ray equipment in proper working condition.
• Follow all applicable safety, operational, regulatory, and infection-control procedures.

-> Qualifications & Requirements

• ARRT certification – Required
• California Radiologic Technologist license – Required
• Limited license is not accepted.
• Maintain all required state licenses, certifications, health requirements, and operational requirements.
• Valid California driver's license with a good driving record – Required
• COVID-19 vaccination is required. Candidates requesting an exemption must provide appropriate supporting documentation.
• Ability to safely transport and operate portable radiology equipment in various healthcare facilities.
• Strong communication, organizational, and customer-service skills.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining communication with dispatch and management.

-> Physical Requirements

This is a physically active mobile position.

• Technologists may need to push or pull equipment weighing approximately 50–100 lbs.
• Vehicle ramps and pulley systems may assist with transporting equipment; however, equipment may require significant force when moved inside facilities or homes.
• Approximately 50 lbs. or more of force may be required multiple times throughout the workday, potentially 16–24 times per day .
