MIG/TIG Welder / Fabricator Job Details

Monday – Friday | 7:00am – 3:30pm | Starting at $22 - $26/hr based on experience

• Overtime possible and mandatory; Occasional Saturdays from 7:00am – 12:00pm based on workload
• Temp-to-perm opportunit

MIG/TIG Welder / Fabricator Requirements

• Previous MIG welding and fabrication experience required
• TIG welding a plus
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings required
• Strong math skills including fractions, decimals, and basic algebra
• Must be able to accurately read a tape measure to 1/16”
• Experience working with steel materials including tube, angle, and channel
• Valid Wisconsin driver’s license with clean driving record required

About the MIG/TIG Welder / Fabricator Role

As a MIG/TIG Welder / Fabricator , your responsibilities will include:

• Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings to fabricate custom steel products
• Layout, measure, and fabricate railings, stairs, fences, gates, columns, and window guards
• Perform MIG welding on steel materials ranging from 16 gauge to 1⁄2 inch thick
• Cut, punch, drill, grind, and finish materials to quality standards
• Use fabrication techniques to assemble products from start to finish
• Perform detailed measuring and calculations using fractions and decimals
• Operate hand tools, grinders, saws, and fabrication equipment safely
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety procedures
• Support shop production needs and work overtime as required
