About the Position
TransForce is seeking a dependable CDL A Delivery Driver for a local delivery position in Carol Stream, Illinois. This role offers hourly pay and hands-on freight handling.
Pay & Schedule Details
- Pay: $29 per hour, with OT after 40
- Estimated weekly gross: $1,200
- Schedule: Monday- Friday 5:30 AM - 5 PM
Job Details
- Route type: Local, home daily, no weekends.
- Freight handling: Heavy touch, pallet jack to load/unload
- Equipment: All automatic transmission tractor-trailers & box trucks
- Freight details: Office Supplies and paper products
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a commercial motor vehicle safely and professionally on local routes.
- Deliver freight to designated locations in a timely manner.
- Perform heavy-touch freight handling as required.
- Complete required delivery documentation accurately.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns promptly.
- Follow all applicable transportation laws and safety procedures.
Minimum Requirements
- 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
- Valid CDL A.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
