Maintenance Supervisor

Maintenance Position

An assisted living community is hiring for a Full-Time Maintenance position. This position requires a knowledgeable, dedicated individual that enjoys working with seniors and assisting them to ensure their home is safe, secure and properly maintained.

Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To:

• Oversee the general maintenance upkeep of the entire community
• Coordinate with the appropriate vendors for maintenance
• Perform general repairs that do not require a specialized technician; repairing drywall, painting, repairing doors and fixtures, etc.
• Perform routine maintenance on building systems
• Prepare rooms for resident move-ins
• Maintain Fire Inspection Book including ensuring fire drills occur as required
• Maintain facility log book (i.e. refrigerator temperature log, water temperature log)
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the building

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Previous experience managing the maintenance for a similar facility, complex, etc. is preferred
• At least 2 years maintenance experience is required
• General knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.
• Excellent communication and organization skills
