Food Processing Plant Forklift Operator (Dayshift)

Responsibilities Perform warehouse operations safely, accurately, and efficiently while meeting company standards. Unload inbound trailers and containers by using sit-down forklifts and reach trucks. Receive, count, verify, and record inventory accurately using the Warehouse Management System. Move products throughout the processing plant, prepare pick locations, and accurately pick, pack, sort, and load outbound orders according to customer specifications. Follow all company safety policies and promptly report any hazards to management. Perform physical work, including lifting to 110 lbs and working for extended periods in refrigerated environments ranging from 30°F to -1°C. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent, with basic math and reading skills. Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is preferred. Some positions require operating a forklift to retrieve products stored up to 35 feet high. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, frequently squat and kneel, and lift 80–110 lbs as needed.
