As a Welder at Honeywell Technologies, youare helping to meet the world's rising energy demands by designing and building innovative heat exchangers.These exchangers use a liquefaction process to transform natural gas into liquid for safe and economical storage and transport, providing energy solutions across the globe.

You will support the fabrication and assembly of industrial equipment through welding, pipefitting, and setup activities. Working under the direction of the Welding Supervisor, you will ensure work is safe, efficient, and toour top-qualitystandards. Approximately 40% of the role involves welding, with the remaining time focused on fit-up, setup, and pipefitting. Most welding is performed on aluminum (90%), with some stainless-steel work (10%).Work will be performed in an indoor, climate-controlled environment.

This position requires training on 1st shift for an initial period. Upon successful completion of training, you will transition to 3rd shift (11:00pm-7:00am). The starting pay is $31.00/hr + $2 shift differential and annual production based incentive.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform welding operations in accordance with engineering specifications, industry standards, and quality requirements
  • Utilize semi-automatic and manual welding processes to complete assigned work
  • Perform fitting, cutting, grinding, and finishing operations as required
  • Inspect completed welds for quality and identify any defects or inconsistencies
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and ensure proper operation of welding equipment
  • Follow all safety policies, procedures, and workplace regulations
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
YOU MUST HAVE
  • 5+ years of prior aluminum welding experience
  • Strong knowledge of welding techniques and equipment, aluminum welding experience is required.
  • Ability to read and interpret welding blueprints and specifications; familiarity with AWS welding symbols is required.
  • Strong understanding of mathematics, geometry, and angles; adept in using the metric system.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team and maintain a fast-paced work environment.
  • Willingness to work at heights up to 30 feet, in confined spaces, and lift up to 30 lbs.
WE VALUE
  • Technical certification in welding or a related field. Candidates who have graduated from welding school are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience in pressure vessel manufacturing according to ASME code.
  • Experience with X-Ray pipe welding
  • Knowledge of pipe fitting and welding in accordance with B31.3 Process piping code.
  • NDE experience (e.g., penetrant testing)
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership skills.

Sign-On Bonus & Incentive Compensation

This position offers a $3,000 sign-on bonus, payable in accordance with company policy. In addition, employees in this role are eligible to earn production-based incentive compensation of up to 4% of their annual base salary, based on individual performance and established productivity metrics.

Eligibility requirements and payment timing for the sign-on bonus and incentive compensation are subject to company guidelines and may vary.
