COMSEC/KMI Database AdministratorWe are seeking a COMSEC/KMI Database Administrator for the Department of State COMSEC IT Services contract. The COMSEC/KMI Database Administrator will support database and data-management activities associated with COMSEC operations, secure communications, controlled-accountability systems, and Key Management Infrastructure.Required QualificationsExperience5+ years of experience in COMSEC operations, secure communications, and controlled-accountability systemsDemonstrated experience supporting government agencies, customers, or contracts within federal environments. This includes the Intelligence Community (IC), Department of Defense (DoD), Federal Civil agencies, and military organizations. Prior experience supporting the same or similar contract, with an in-depth understanding of the customer environment, requirements, and operational landscape, is highly desirable.CertificationsSecurity+ certificationDoD 8570 IAT Level II certificationKMI certificationClearanceActive Top Secret clearance.Preferred QualificationsExperience with COMSEC accountability databases.Experience with SQL and enterprise database platforms.Experience with KMI operational workflows.Experience supporting classified data-management environmentsResponsibilitiesAdminister and support databases used by COMSEC and controlled-accountability systems.Maintain database integrity, availability, security, and accuracy.Support KMI operational and data-management requirements.Monitor and troubleshoot database performance and technical issues.Support data reconciliation, validation, reporting, and audit readiness.Assist with database backup, recovery, patching, maintenance, and lifecycle activities.Support interfaces between databases and COMSEC applications.Maintain accurate and traceable accountability data.Support investigation and resolution of data discrepancies.Develop and maintain database procedures and technical documentation.Coordinate with developers, systems integrators, cybersecurity personnel, and operations staff.Work EnvironmentThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of the job. The salary range displayed is an estimate and will be determined on several factors regarding the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract parameters and organizational requirements.
