They’re seeking a Fire Sprinkler Designer who wants more than just a drafting role-you’ll play a critical part in life safety design while working with a collaborative and forward-thinking team. Key Responsibilities
- Design and layout fire sprinkler systems in compliance with NFPA standards and local codes
- Create detailed plans using AutoCAD, Revit, or specialized fire protection design software
- Perform hydraulic calculations and system sizing
- Collaborate with project managers, field teams, and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs)
- Review specifications, blueprints, and construction documents
- Support permitting and approval processes
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with high accuracy
- 3+ years of fire sprinkler design experience
- Strong understanding of NFPA 13, 13R, and 14 standards
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit or HydraCAD a plus)
- Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings
- Detail-oriented with strong communication skills
- NICET certification (Level II or higher preferred but not required)
