POSITION: Student Services Secretary-Pierce Middle School SCHEDULE: 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. School Year Position Only QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or equivalent Internal applicants must have passed Clerical Basics & Skyward exams. External applicants must pass Clerical Basics & Skyward exams within the probationary period. Demonstrates ability to work well with students, staff, parents and community Has a positive outlook toward the school system, the school and its stakeholders Effective communication skills (verbal and written) Exhibits a pleasant disposition Time management & organizational skills are essential Successful interview with Building Administration RESPONSIBILITIES: Has frequent contact with students, parents, teachers, and other school personnel. Enter all discipline into Skyward Provide Discipline Data Reports to Administration upon request Create and maintain lists for After School Detentions, Friday Schools, In-School Suspensions, and Out of School Suspensions Communicate Suspension Lists with necessary Pierce staff Request assignments for suspended students (ISS and OSS) Assist in contacting parents regarding the assignment of student discipline when necessary. Follow up with students and parents regarding no show to detentions. Assist detention supervisor when necessary All other duties as directed by Administration #J-18808-Ljbffr
