S&S Mechanical is seeking a full-time HVAC Foreman to join our team!

Location: St. George, UT | Pay: $34 – $42/hour , depending on experience | Schedule: You will work full-time, Monday through Friday , with occasional overtime as needed to meet project requirements and construction deadlines. The position is based in St. George, UT.

HVAC Foreman Requirements:

• 3+ years of commercial HVAC installation experience
• Solid knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, ductwork, controls, and mechanical codes
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a crew and delegate tasks
• Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and technical specifications
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Physical ability to regularly stand, kneel, bend, climb ladders, lift 50+ pounds, and work in active construction environments (rooftops, mechanical rooms, crawlspaces, and elevated areas)

A Plus:

• EPA Certification
• Journeyman HVAC license or equivalent experience
• Experience as a foreman or similar supervisory position on commercial projects
• Experience managing large-scale or multi-phase construction projects
• Experience with VRF systems, rooftop units, split systems, boilers, chillers, or controls integration

This Role:

As an HVAC Foreman, you will guide your crew on active construction sites. You will plan daily tasks, assign duties, and ensure HVAC installations are completed according to blueprints, specifications, and engineered plans. Your work will include overseeing the installation of duct systems, equipment, refrigerant piping, ventilation, and controls, making sure everything meets local codes, safety standards, and quality expectations. You will work closely with project managers, contractors, engineers, and inspectors to keep projects on track. Training apprentices and junior installers, managing materials and resources, solving problems quickly, assisting with system startup, and maintaining a clean and safe jobsite will all be part of your routine.
