Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our Cold Storage & Freezer Team . The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, established warehouse experience, with a proactive approach to warehouse operations. This position works primarily in a freezer environment supporting Order fulfillment and Inventory operations.
Responsibilities
- Operate pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move inventory.
- Perform order picking and packing using RF scanners, and stage customer orders to ensure accurate shipment processing.
- Receive, stock, and organize inventory in compliance with trade and international trade regulations to maintain proper stock levels.
- Support inventory control through regular stock counts, cycle counts, and reconciliation activities to minimize discrepancies.
- Load and Unload shipments safely and efficiently
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software such as AS400 to track inventory levels, update stock records, and manage order fulfillment.
- Follow safety protocols during load and unload procedures to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment
Experience
- Prior experience working in a warehouse environment with familiarity in warehouse distribution processes.
- Prior experience in a Freezer Environment is highly desirable, as candidates must have the ability and willingness to work in freezer temperature
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems such as AS400 or similar platforms.
- Hands-on experience operating pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Established experience with Picking, Packing, & Inventory responsibilities.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. regularly.
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining accuracy in stock management tasks
