DevOps Engineer

DevOps EngineerEverforth ECS is seeking a DevOps Engineer to work in a hybrid capacity with 3 days a week onsite at DISA HQ in Ft. Meade, MD. This position will lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure across cloud (Azure/AWS/GCP) environment. A successful candidate will be able to bridge the gap between development and operations teams, optimizing continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to drive automation and efficiency. This position will work as a member of a team managing and maintaining multiple coalition Mission Partner network enclaves in support of the DoW community and will work with a team to design, implement, and maintain enclaves' virtual infrastructure in both AWS and Azure Cloud as well as on premises deployments. The ideal candidate has exceptional problem-solving skills and a breadth of expertise in cloud networking concepts, modern CI/CD pipeline, platform automation, and infrastructure development supporting these technologies.Primary Responsibilities:Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design, deploy, and maintain immutable infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, or cloud-native tools (ARM, CloudFormation) across multi-cloud environmentsDeployment & CI/CD Pipelines: Build, optimize, and manage end-to-end automated deployment pipelines using platforms like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI to enable high-speed, secure software deliveryContainerization & Orchestration: Manage Kubernetes clusters (EKS/AKS/GKE), ensuring high availability for containerized applicationsObservability & Reliability: Establish unified monitoring, log centralization, and alert systems across hybrid systems using Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch or relevant tech stacks.Security & Compliance: Enforce DevSecOps practices, managing IAM policies, network security, and compliance guardrails (CIS/NIST)Mentorship & Strategy: Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers, while improving deployment processes and promoting a DevOps cultureOther duties as assigned.Salary Range: $120,000 - $160,000General Description of BenefitsU.
