About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Malone Healthcare to find a qualified Rehab RN in Lynchburg, Virginia, 24501!

• Provide direct patient care on an inpatient rehabilitation unit serving adult patients (18+) with diagnoses including stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputation, multi-trauma, hip fracture, debility, and cardiac conditions
• Maintain patient ratios of 6:1 in an RN capacity across a 14-28 bed unit with potential expansion to a second unit on the same floor
• Utilize Cerner EHR and Omnicell for accurate documentation and medication management
• Collaborate within a transdisciplinary team model to support patient recovery and return-to-home goals
• Adhere to weekend rotation schedule (every other weekend, Monday-Friday rotation)

• Active RN License (valid and in good standing)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience (new graduates are not eligible)
• Experience with Cerner EHR is required
• Background in IRF (Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility) and/or Med-Surg nursing
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

• 2 or more years of rehabilitation nursing experience
• Familiarity with common rehabilitation diagnoses including stroke, SCI, and orthopedic injuries
• Comfortable working in a team-oriented, transdisciplinary care environment
