Travel Physical Therapist - $1,957 per week

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Physical Therapist Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Work Hours: 40 hours per week (8-hour shifts) Shift: 8 hours per day Employment Type: Travel Location: Hampton, GA We are looking for a Physical Therapist (PT) for an immediate travel opening. Preferable experience: 1 year (6 months acceptable for exceptional candidates). Additional requirements are listed below. As a PT, you will be responsible for the evaluation, development, and execution of a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting. Tasks Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians) Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines within settings for facility Understand the respective PT board's rules and regulations, complying within respective state Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-focused plan of care Understand adaptive equipment Evaluate and create a plan of care Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient's condition Use Medical Center computer systems in performance of daily tasks Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines Requirements Minimum 6 months of clinical experience (new graduates encouraged to apply) BLS certification State-specific PT licensing Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, and stoop for extended periods Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology Additional certifications may be required prior to assignment Job ID: 1395498 Pay package: Based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined. #J-18808-Ljbffr TNAA TotalMed Allied
