Database Administrator

Role Overview Support and administer diverse database environments, including Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and NoSQL platforms, for critical enterprise applications. Key Responsibilities Manage Oracle RDBMS environments, including Grid Infrastructure and Data Guard. Oversee database operations across multiple platforms, ensuring system reliability, performance, and data integrity. Perform backup, restore, and disaster recovery tasks using RMAN, snapshots, and archive logs. Troubleshoot technical issues related to systems, databases, hardware, and networks. Create ad-hoc SQL queries for diagnostics and analysis. Maintain Linux OS and file systems, develop administrative scripts, and conduct server audits. Manage user accounts, ACLs, and support system changes while ensuring compliance with security and policies. Provide exceptional customer service and participate in after-hours support as needed. Qualifications & Skills Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph eligibility. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field. At least 7 years of relevant experience. Hands-on expertise with Oracle infrastructure, cloud services, and Linux. Experience with database management, automation scripting, and AWS services. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. IT security experience within accredited environments. Preferred Qualifications AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Oracle Cloud Certification. Experience with PeopleSoft and geospatial products. #J-18808-Ljbffr
