Commissioning Project Manager

Our client, a leader in the building commissioning and analytics industry, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Commissioning Project Manager to join their team. As a Commissioning Project Manager, you will be an integral part of the Commissioning & Building Analytics (CBA) department supporting diverse projects across various sectors. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, aligning seamlessly with our organization’s commitment to excellence and innovation.

What's the Job?

• Oversee and manage complex commissioning projects across multiple industry sectors, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
• Lead cross-functional teams, including internal staff, consultants, and contractors, to execute project objectives effectively.
• Develop and review comprehensive commissioning plans and specifications aligned with industry standards such as ASHRAE, CSA, and LEED.
• Conduct detailed field activities, including site visits, testing, and start-up procedures for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and automation systems.
• Facilitate communication among stakeholders through effective meetings and documentation, ensuring project transparency and coordination.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in mechanical or electrical engineering, field testing, or commissioning roles.
• Proficiency with mechanical testing meters, calibration equipment, and data loggers used in commissioning processes.
• Strong knowledge of commissioning processes, including review of drawings, specifications, and submittals.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to coordinate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
