Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients to accurately identify their mental health needs, employing evidence-based diagnostic approaches. \n
- Deliver individualized counseling services, guiding clients through therapeutic processes for issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. \n
- Lead group therapy sessions, providing a safe space for peer support and psychoeducation to enhance community and individual healing. \n
- Collaborate to develop tailored treatment plans with clear goals, regularly updating them to reflect clients’ progress and emerging needs. \n
- Provide immediate intervention during crisis situations, conducting risk assessments and coordinating with emergency services to ensure client safety. \n
- Participate in ongoing professional development activities to remain current on best practices and emerging trends in mental health care. \n
- Work alongside a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and social workers, to deliver holistic care that addresses all facets of client well-being. \n
Your primary focus will be on individuals from diverse backgrounds facing a variety of mental health challenges. This includes children, adolescents, adults, and families seeking support for anxiety, depression, trauma, and more. By providing trauma-informed care and culturally responsive practices, you will ensure that all clients feel heard, understood, and validated.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A master's or doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution. \n
- Valid licensure as a mental health counselor (LMHC) in the state of Washington. \n
- A minimum of three years of supervised clinical experience, meeting all state guidelines for practice. \n
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication and relationship building with clients. \n
- Proficient in conducting detailed mental health evaluations and formulating treatment plans based on those assessments. \n
- A commitment to continuous personal and professional growth through ongoing education and training. \n

- Specialized training or certifications in areas such as trauma therapy, addiction counseling, or family therapy. \n
- Experience with telehealth platforms and virtual counseling methodologies to effectively engage with clients remotely. \n
