Unit Support Coordinator (USC), Day Shift, PACU

Job Summary Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Unit Support Coordinator who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing. Responsibilities Support departmental operations by providing effective and timely communications, maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly work environment, maintaining data and related records, and by performing clerical and other support services as directed. Process physician orders, communication, and other general duties. Qualifications High school diploma / GED. At least 6 months experience working in a hospital or doctor’s office. Basic knowledge of medical terminology required. Proficient in PC, Internet and email required. Strong communication and organizational skills. Training in data entry of clinical systems preferred. Work Schedule Employment Type: Full‑time; Hours per Week: 40 hours/week; Typical Daily Schedule: Monday–Friday 10:00 a.m. – 18:30 p.m.; Shift Type: Day; Weekend Requirements: none; Holiday Requirements: Required; On‑Call: no; Shift Differential Eligible: Yes. Compensation Pay Range: $18.80 – $24.18 per hour.
