Events Marketing Specialist

Responsibilities Negotiate, plan, and execute sponsorship and branding events within the Astound footprint. Investigate, prepare documentation, and recommend new events and sponsorships. Coordinate with market leaders regarding sales, community, and small/medium business events. Respond to unsolicited event and sponsorship requests. Procure and manage vendors and brand ambassadors. Coordinate run‑of‑show for all planned events. Organize and deliver event materials including signage, banners, and booths. Assist with TV, radio, and digital promotional copy. Coordinate reciprocal media opportunities. Lead social outreach and promotional campaigns. Track budgets, process invoices, and prepare reports. Manage programmer relationships for new event opportunities. Participate in meetings and cross‑channel marketing initiatives. Travel up to 40% as required. Weekend availability required. Other duties as assigned. Education High School Diploma or Bachelor's Degree preferred. Experience 2-4 years of experience with large sponsorships or agency‑side campaigns. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Strong organizational, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with budget and expense management. Base Salary The base salary range in TX for this position is $55,000 - $83,000 annually plus opportunities for bonus and benefits, if applicable. The base pay range represents the low and high end of the hiring range for this job. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to relevant skills, experience, and capabilities. It is specific to TX and may not be applicable to other locations.
