Position Summary

The client is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee the day-to-day field operations of commercial construction projects from groundbreaking through project completion. The Superintendent is responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of experience managing field operations for ground-up commercial and healthcare construction projects, as well as Luxury projects. This individual is a proactive leader with exceptional organizational skills, the ability to coordinate multiple trades, and a commitment to delivering outstanding results for clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all on-site construction activities from mobilization through project closeout.
• Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to maintain project schedules and quality standards.
• Manage ground-up commercial construction, tenant improvements, renovations, and healthcare projects.
• Develop and maintain short-term and long-term project schedules in collaboration with the Project Manager.
• Conduct daily jobsite inspections to ensure quality workmanship, compliance with project specifications, and adherence to safety regulations.
• Enforce OSHA safety standards and promote a culture of safety throughout the jobsite.
• Coordinate inspections with local authorities and ensure all work complies with applicable building codes.
• Review construction drawings, specifications, RFIs, and submittals to ensure proper execution in the field.
• Identify and resolve field conflicts, scheduling challenges, and constructability issues proactively.
• Maintain accurate daily reports, progress documentation, and project records.
• Participate in owner, architect, and subcontractor meetings while providing regular project updates.
• Ensure projects are completed on schedule while maintaining the highest level of craftsmanship and client satisfaction.

Required Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience as a Superintendent with a commercial general contractor.
• Proven experience leading ground-up commercial construction projects valued from several million dollars through completion.
• Strong background in healthcare construction & Luxury club houses. These projects will include: Medical offices, outpatient facilities, hospitals, Golf Club Houses and Luxury homes.
• Experience managing commercial, industrial, institutional, or corporate construction projects.
• Thorough understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, quality control, and field coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors and maintaining project schedules.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety best practices.
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and other construction management software.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in occupied healthcare facilities with infection control and phased construction requirements.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• First Aid/CPR certification.
• Florida commercial construction experience preferred.

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary Range $120K - $160K
