Job Description

Provide numerical control, machining, and programming expertise in support of the design and manufacture of parts and assemblies. Establish manufacturing and producibility requirements and develop or integrate machining techniques, manufacturing methods, processes, software, and equipment for the manufacture and inspection of parts, tools, and assemblies. Create, verify, and revise Machine Control Data (MCD), geometry, and documentation while coordinating work and training or mentoring others under minimal direction.

• Education & Job Requirements
• Advanced education, such as an Associate degree, and typically 6+ years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3+ years of experience with ENOVIA/CATIA
• 3+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals

• Preferred Skills
• Experience with CATIA

• Job Duties & Functions
• Provide numerical control, machining, and programming technical expertise to support the design and manufacture of parts and assemblies
• Establish technical requirements for manufacturing and producibility
• Create, verify, and revise Machine Control Data (MCD), geometry, and documentation directing operations of numerically controlled equipment
• Plan and guide the development and integration of new machining techniques and manufacturing methods, processes, software, and equipment
• Develop programs for Mazak Mill, Zimmerman, Mazak Lathe, LSAM, and Hexagon CMM
• Use Mastercam, PC-DMIS, and Vericut software
• Identify equipment and approaches for manufacturing and inspection activities
• Coordinate and assign work
• Train and mentor others
• Support BCA and BDS NC programming of aluminum and titanium additively fabricated parts and polymer parts for Mazak, Zimmerman, LSAM, and CMM
