- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to implement structured therapeutic interventions tailored to each client. \n
- Educate clients and their families about various mood disorders, enhancing their understanding of treatment options and effective self-care strategies to support recovery. \n
- Monitor client progress, regularly assessing reaction to treatment and making necessary adjustments to their care plan for optimal outcomes. \n
- Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and medical professionals to ensure integrated care that addresses both psychological and pharmacological needs. \n
- Stay current with research and breakthroughs in the treatment of mood disorders to enhance clinical practice and inform therapeutic strategies. \n
- Document client sessions, assessments, and treatment plans accurately and confidentially in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines. \n

Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n
- Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York. \n
- Thorough knowledge of evidence-based treatment methods for mood disorders, including but not limited to CBT and DBT. \n
- Strong understanding of psychopharmacological treatments, enabling effective collaboration with medical professionals. \n
- Demonstrated history of successful client outcomes in treating mood disorders, showcasing your ability to drive change. \n
- Exceptional communication skills, facilitating rapport-building with clients from various socio-economic and cultural backgrounds. \n

- Minimum of three years of post-graduate experience providing therapy in a clinical setting. \n
- Proficiency in telehealth platforms and virtual counseling tools, enhancing the remote care experience. \n
- Experience advocating for mental health services within community settings. \n
This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging between $90,000 and $100,000 annually.
