Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking a dedicated ICU Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive patient care in a critical care setting. The role involves utilizing all components of the nursing process to meet the complex needs of critically ill patients.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' condition, identifying both obvious and subtle problems, and anticipate potential changes.
• Develop and revise individualized care plans involving patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with hospital policies and age-specific standards of care.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers, participating in multidisciplinary conferences.
• Reassess and evaluate patient responses, adjusting care as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Document patient care accurately, demonstrating leadership in daily unit activities.

Qualifications:

• Valid CA RN Licensure with recent upload to Nursys.
• Current BLS (AHA), ACLS, NIHSS Certification, and MAB Training.
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
