Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a contract position. This role is crucial in providing high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment.

The Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in the emergency department. This involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional healthcare services.

Shift: Nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Conduct thorough patient assessments and triage based on emergency protocols.

Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders.

Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.

Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.

Document all patient information and care delivered in the electronic medical record.

Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications are required.

A minimum of 3 years of experience in emergency nursing is required.

Candidates must have a permanent address located more than 50 miles from the facility.

Willingness to float to other units may be required based on patient needs.

Must be available to work on a flexible schedule that includes nights.
