Line Cook - Seasonal (Parks)

Salary: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour depending on experience

This position is hired in the golf division of the parks and recreation department.
Essential Job Functions:
- Assist restaurant/assistant restaurant manager/chef in cooking and preparation of food.
- Supervise kitchen personnel under the direction of the restaurant manager/chef.
- Ensure food items are prepared according to standards of quality, consistency, and timelines.
- Receive and fulfill food orders using a restaurant point-of-sale system.
- Answer questions about cooking methods, menu items, and specials.
- Purchase various food products as directed by restaurant manager/chef, order and receive deliveries, and restock supplies as necessary.
- Maintain sanitation procedures and organization of work area.
- Maintain cleanliness of back-of-the-house area.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must have or be able to obtain a valid Food Handlers Permit.
Pre-employment screening:

- Drug and alcohol testing.
