MWH is a leading water and wastewater treatment focused general contractor in the US with a rich history dating back to the 19th century Fueled by the mission of Building a Better World our teams are rapidly growing across the nation As a company committed to our teams well being and growth we offer a supportive work environment opportunities for advancement and the chance to contribute to a mission that shapes the future Your expertise and ambition are valued here The work we do matters The critical systems infrastructure we build changes lives betters communities and improves ecosystems If youre passionate about this we want to hear from you About the Role MWH is seeking an CMS Intern Construction to support construction project work from our Corona CA or Phoenix AZ office This internship provides hands on exposure to construction operations and office administration within a fast paced team oriented environment The Administrative Intern will play a key support role by assisting with day to day administrative documentation and coordination activities that help keep projects running efficiently This role is ideal for someone interested in construction business operations or project administration Learning Opportunities & Responsibilities Project & Office Administration Assist with general administrative support for the project team including document preparation filing and data entry Support document control efforts including organizing and maintaining electronic and hard copy project files Help track and log project documents such as RFIs submittals and correspondence Assist with meeting coordination including preparing agendas taking meeting minutes and distributing follow up items Update internal trackers logs and reports to support project transparency and organization Communication & Coordination Serve as an administrative liaison between project team members subcontractors and internal departments Assist with preparing reports presentations and written communications Support onboarding and coordination efforts for new team members vendors or visitors to the job site Procurement & Cost Support Assist with compiling vendor quotes invoices and basic cost documentation Help organize bid information supplier lists and procurement records Support the team with data gathering for estimates change documentation and reporting needs General Business & Operations Exposure Gain insight into construction project workflows scheduling and compliance requirements Learn how large infrastructure projects are organized documented and managed Perform other administrative and operational support tasks as assigned Basic Qualifications Currently pursuing a bachelors degree in business administration Construction Management Engineering Marketing or a related field Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work collaboratively in a team oriented environment Preferred Qualifications Prior internship or administrative experience preferably in construction engineering or a related industry Interest in construction infrastructure or project based environments Compensation This is a paid internship budgeted at 23 26 an hour MWH Constructors is a global project delivery company in heavy civil construction with a focus on water and wastewater treatment infrastructure With the ultimate goal of delivering maximum value to clients and their local communities MWH Constructors provides single source integrated design and construction services through a full range of project delivery methods Incorporating industry leading preconstruction and construction services the Companys multi disciplined team of engineering and construction professionals delivers a wide range of projects including new facilities infrastructure improvement and expansion and capital construction services Equal Opportunity Employer including disabled and veterans We need pre employment screening including drug and background check as a condition of employment LI JB1 #J-18808-Ljbffr MWH
