Logistics Management Specialist You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT. Responsibilities Act as a key member of the ILS Management Team (ILSMT) and participate actively in Hardware Systems Command (HSC) meetings, leading supply support conferences and VTCs to determine, negotiate, and finalize vital lifecycle planning, provisioning, and configuration management plans for nuclear reactor-supported platforms. Formulate and justify wholesale and retail allowance budgets, develop PSICP Supply Support Management Plans (SSMPs), and monitor contractor milestones to ensure timely delivery of critical logistics elements while staying within approved funding envelopes. Monitor repair programs for all material in support of nuclear reactor supply support to ships, submarines, nuclear training platforms, and naval shipyards to maximize overall readiness. Qualifications At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or an equivalent pay band in the federal service, or equivalent experience in the private or public sector that demonstrates knowledge of Naval Nuclear Reactor supply support to ships, submarines, nuclear training platforms, and naval shipyards. Experience may include paid, unpaid, and volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
