Responsibilities:

A Manufacturing Maintenance Technician installs, repairs, and maintains machinery, performing both preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure equipment runs smoothly and safely.

-Key responsibilities include troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, fabricating parts, conducting safety checks, and keeping detailed maintenance records. This role requires a diverse skill set, including knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, schematics, and various hand and power tools.

Qualifications:

-Technical skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical manuals, and electrical schematics. Experience with tools such as mills, lathes, welders, and presses is often required.
-Troubleshooting ability: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify the root cause of equipment failures.
-Mechanical and electrical knowledge: In-depth understanding of industrial systems, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.
-Physical abilities: Ability to lift and manipulate heavy equipment and stand for long periods.
-Communication skills: Good verbal and written communication skills for interacting with team members and writing reports.
-Computer skills: Basic computer skills for reporting and using maintenance management systems.
-Safety awareness: Knowledge of OSHA standards and a strong commitment to workplace safety.
