Hillcrest Overview Hillcrest is a 24/7 Level 1 trauma Center and is the San Diego Regional Burn Center. Hillcrest surgical services include Trauma, Ortho Trauma, Burns, Head and Neck, Neurology, Ophthalmology Orthopedics, Robotics, Urology, Plastics, Pulmonary, General, Gynecology, Oncology, Transplants: Liver/Kidney, Vascular and Gynecology. Nursing Practice Autonomous nursing care is the ability of a nurse to assess and provide nursing actions as appropriate for patient care populations based on competence, professional expertise, and knowledge. The nurse is expected to practice autonomously consistent with ANA and ARON Standards of Practice and Professional Performance. Independent judgment is expected to be exercised within the context of interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary approaches to patient care. Cover Letter While not required, a cover letter is highly recommended when applying to this position. Minimum Qualifications Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing. RN License issued by the State of California. BART or BLS at time of hire with commitment to get BART within six (6) months of hire date. One (1+) or more years of recent Main Operating Room (OR) RN experience. Preferred Qualifications

BSN/MSN

CNOR Two (2+) or more years of RN Operating Room experience in an acute care hospital. Recent OR Experience on all shifts including mids/nights/wknds. Level 1 Trauma Center experience. Special Conditions Must be able to work various hours, days, shifts, on‑call and various locations based on the 24‑hour Medical Center's business needs. Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre‑employment physical. Per diem shift requirement is an average of one shift per week. Must be available one weekend shift every four weeks and one major holiday. This is subject to change based on department needs. Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $190,342 - $190,342 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $91.16 - $91.16 Vaccination Policy If employed by the University of California, you will be required to comply with our Policy on Vaccination Programs, which may be amended or revised from time to time.
