Market Broiler Dishwasher Position

The Market Broiler Restaurant brand was launched in Riverside, CA in 1989. The flagship restaurant has earned the coveted Best for Seafood crown for over three decades and is recognized as The Best Restaurant in Riverside by the readers of the Riverside Press-Enterprise.

Since first opening our doors, six additional Market Broiler/MB Grille locations have been opened throughout California. The Fremont and Huntington Beach locations have been designed with a casual neighborhood feel, while our locations in Orange, Ontario, Simi Valley, and Torrance reveal larger, higher traffic versions of Market Broiler with an entertainment vibe.

We are looking for Dishwashers, no experience is required!

Summary

The dish position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for china, glassware, tableware, cooking utensils, etc., using machine and manual cleaning methods. This position also ensures the dishwashing area is maintained as a clean, safe and sanitary facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glasses, tableware and other cooking utensils and place them in racks to send through the dish machine.
• Sort and stack clean dishes. Carry clean dishes to cook line and other proper storage areas. Rewash soiled dishes before delivering.
• Change the dishwater in the dish machine every hour.
• Wash pots, pans and trays by hand.
• Remove trash and garbage to the dumpster.
• Set up or break down dishwashing area.
• Clean and roll/unroll mats.
• Fill/empty soak tubs with cleaning/sanitizing solutions.
• Sweep/mop floors.
• Assemble/disassemble dish machine.
• Sweep up trash around exterior of restaurant and garbage dumpster.
• Conduct general restaurant and restroom cleaning as directed.
• Wipe up any spills to ensure kitchen floors remain dry.
• Notify manager any time dish machine wash or rinse cycle falls below safety standard temperatures.
• Other duties as directed.
