Job Opportunity: Pediatric Rehabilitation Physician

• Provide inpatient acute rehabilitation services for patients aged 0 to 21, including a new program for infants transitioning from the NICU who may face feeding challenges, delayed milestones, or anxiety related to handling.
• Engage in outpatient practice primarily focused on conditions such as cerebral palsy and spasticity management (including ITB and Botulinum treatments), with opportunities to participate in multidisciplinary clinics, including those for home ventilator patients, hypertonicity/SDR, spina bifida, high-risk infants, and muscular dystrophy.
• Contribute to the PMR residency program through teaching opportunities.
• Participate in research initiatives supported by the PMR department, particularly within the new Totally Infants’ Program, which is already generating multiple project ideas.

• On-call Duties: Participation in the on-call pool for Adult Inpatient Rehabilitation units may be required, depending on availability and necessity.
• Work Hours: Standard hours are typically from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with earlier hours on Fridays.
• Patient Interaction: Average visit durations are approximately 20-30 minutes for follow-ups and 30-40 minutes for new patients, with flexibility for new hires.

The starting base salary for this position ranges from $210,000 to $250,000, adjusted based on experience and faculty rank. This figure does not include variable compensation or additional productivity incentives and is subject to departmental compensation policies. Detailed discussions regarding compensation will take place during the recruitment process.
