Senior Electrical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design and execution of electrical systems for a variety of commercial, industrial, healthcare, higher education, and federal projects. This role requires strong expertise in power systems engineering, project leadership, and client engagement. The ideal candidate will oversee multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring quality, schedule, and budget objectives are achieved. The position offers the opportunity to mentor engineering teams, collaborate with multidisciplinary stakeholders, and contribute to business growth initiatives. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of electrical systems for commercial, industrial, healthcare, higher education, and federal projects.
• Prepare electrical specifications, calculations, studies, and engineering documentation.
• Perform power system analysis and ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes and standards.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, resources, and technical deliverables.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, owners, and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Review engineering drawings and technical documentation for quality and accuracy.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineering staff.
• Support proposal preparation and business development initiatives.
• Serve as a technical advisor and primary point of contact for project stakeholders.
• Participate in project meetings, design reviews, and construction support activities.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Professional Engineer PE license.
• 10 to 15 years of electrical engineering experience within the AEC industry.
• Strong experience with power systems design.
• Experience managing engineering projects, budgets, schedules, and deliverables.
• Proficiency with electrical modeling and analysis software including SKM, ETAP, or similar tools.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, IEEE, NESC, and related electrical standards.
• Experience using AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with lighting design.
• Experience with telecommunications systems design.
• Experience with audio visual systems design.
• Experience with cybersecurity infrastructure design.
• Experience with security systems design.
• Project management certifications.
• Knowledge of local AHJ requirements.
• Participation in professional engineering organizations.
