Product Design Lead

Who We're Looking For We’re hiring a founding designer to make it all inevitable. You will own the visual and experiential identity of this company, translating big ideas into beautiful, fluid, unforgettable product experiences across every surface—from web app and mobile app to voice and vision. The role is an ownership position where you define what a category‑defining product looks and feels like and validate the outcomes. Key Responsibilities The surfaces: Translate our brand into beautifully composed apps, decks, landing pages, ads, and every other touchpoint. You own how our new product looks in the world. Product UI/UX: Deliver elevated, animated, fluid experiences that feel unlike anything else in this category. You’re designing the product you wish you could use everyday. Design‑to‑production: Work directly with engineers to ensure your vision reaches users the way you imagined. Speed with taste: Move fast, make smart tradeoffs, and ship across multiple surfaces simultaneously. Qualifications Values: You’re at the point in your career where you want to take a big swing to impact millions and change the world by bringing humans closer together during the isolated AI age. You’re hard‑working, creative, curious, and ethical. Abilities: You are an artist and a keen businessperson at the same time. Your bar of excellence is high and you’re able to both strategize and deliver great design. You love interviewing stakeholders and validating ideas but you also make hard calls that defy all the data. Skills: You’ve done this before—at least some version of it. You know the tools. You’re already using AI to go faster. Your portfolio makes people stop scrolling. Location & Work Arrangement 5 days/week in our Palo Alto office.
