Overview We have partnered with a boutique-style and family operated accounting firm in the lovely city of Charleston, South Carolina. A bustling job economy, great prices on homes, and a super family friendly beach town vibe makes Charleston such a great place to live. This is a firm that truly values work life balance, puts employees first, and doesn't micro manage hours like some firms. The partners are looking for an tax senior associate on a fast track to tax manager soon, and that handle a variety of tax prep and review for a variety of local area businesses. About the Role Pay: $110,000- $130,000 (could be more commensurate with experience) Prep and review tax returns for various entities, businesses, high net worth individuals, pass through entities, C-Corps, S-Corps, and Partnerships. Enter this information into a variety of prep software programs like CCH, Pro System, and Ultra Tax Ensure all business tax returns are filed in accordance with Firm guidelines as well as ensuring federal regulations are met Work with the IRS at times for any resolutions needed Work well with the partners for any tax work needed and assist any junior staff on their prep and review What you will bring Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, stats, business administration or related field CPA eligible, CPA license currently, or in progress is ideal, EA is also a plus. or working to obtain the EA 3-4 years of solid tax prep and review experience in a local accounting environment, Big firm, regional firm, or equivalent firm doing daily tax prep and review work on multiple entities and VIP clients Very proficient with various tax software programs Understanding of tax laws and ability to be in a fast paced tax environment to get work done efficiently Job Details Full time Monday through Friday Hours capped in busy season unlike a lot of firms where you may work 70-80 hours a week Salary: $110,000- $130,000 Health Insurance is Employer subsidized Tuition reimbursement for CPA licensure, EA courses, or other continuing Ed.
