Job Description
The Retail Assistant Manager supports daily operations in a high-volume specialty retail store, partnering with the Store Manager and broader district and regional leadership. This role shares accountability for store-wide performance, serves as manager on duty, and helps deliver outstanding customer service, sales results, and operational excellence. The position includes access to a structured development program with opportunities for Store Manager progression and department specialization.

Responsibilities
Support daily store operations and execution of business priorities.
Supervise staff and serve as manager on duty.
Coordinate shift scheduling and staffing coverage.
Deliver exceptional customer service and support sales performance.
Manage inventory control, merchandising, and visual presentation.
Oversee cash management and loss-prevention practices.
Train and coach team members to strengthen performance and engagement.

Required Qualifications
At least 1 year of retail management experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of retail operations and point-of-sale systems.
Experience with inventory management and visual merchandising.
Understanding of sales analysis and loss prevention.
Experience with staff scheduling, customer service, and team leadership.
