Our organization, the largest healthcare provider in the region, is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Interventional Pain Physician. This role offers the chance to work with a varied patient demographic, concentrating on musculoskeletal issues, as well as back and neck pain, and both acute and chronic pain management. The position involves the medical oversight of patients experiencing spine and neck-related concerns, with a procedural focus aimed at pain relief.

The program encompasses behavioral health, complementary medicine approaches, interventional techniques, and spasticity management. There is an opportunity to conduct fluoroscopy-guided spinal injections and ultrasound-guided procedures. The physician will treat individuals suffering from painful and functionally limiting musculoskeletal disorders affecting the spine, peripheral joints, and soft tissues, including sprains, strains, disc herniations, rheumatologic conditions, and various neuromuscular issues of the upper and lower limbs, spinal cord, and brain. Additionally, the role includes prescribing therapeutic exercises and other rehabilitation strategies.

Qualifications include:

• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical institution.

• Completion of fellowship training from an ACGME accredited program.

• An active and unrestricted medical license in the State of Maine, or the ability to secure one before starting employment.

• Board Certification or Eligibility.

• An active and unrestricted DEA license, or the ability to obtain one prior to employment.

• Experience with electronic medical records is preferred.
