About the Position

Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology/Cardiology Specialty: Cardiac Catheterization Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 1 year in Cath Lab & Angio License: Active state license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT-R, OBMI Must-Have: Experienced in both Cath Lab and Angio with scrub experience Willingness to float within the site and across the system Completion of assigned education within one week of assignment Description: Ideal candidates are experienced in both Cath Lab and Angio with scrub experience. Call required: about one weeknight per week and one weekend every 3-4 weeks. Candidates must complete any assigned education within one week of the assignment. Refusal to float as requested will result in cancellation of contract. Mandatory cancellation terms require cancellation 1.5 hours before shift start. Personnel may be mandatorily cancelled for one shift per two-week pay period without cause. Travelers are required to have Epic experience. Maximum of 7 days of time off permitted. No time off during the first two weeks of the assignment. All time off requests must be included at the time of application. Active state license or proof of application and fingerprinting is required upon submission. References from a Charge Nurse or Supervisor are required upon submission. No felony convictions are accepted. Former staff must be separated from the facility/system for at least 1 year before returning. Pre-start requirements must be completed and submitted before starting. Estimated completion time for pre-start requirements is 4 to 8 hours. Modules completed during orientation are billable if completed in the first 8 hours. Test-Out Module may be required for all required certifications. If failed, mandatory training will be assigned at no cost.
