Ability to maintain a professional home office without distraction during workday, typically 9-5 (or 8-4) or as defined by the school.ESSENTIAL FUNCATIONS: Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.Ensure all newly received documents (evaluation team reports, etc.) are compliantTake the necessary steps to ensure compliance when necessaryEnsure all existing documents are compliant following the guidelines set forth by the stateAdminister academic and other assessments to currently enrolled students per mandated time framesLead evaluation team report meetings; Participates in the school’s intervention assistance teamAssist the Principal of Special Programs in developing/leading/participating in professional development for the general education staff, special education staff, and parents of students in special education programsConsult with guidance counselors to provide training in various emotional health areasKeep abreast of all changing legislative issues impacting special education eligibilityProvide guidance with the implementation of school, procedures and projectsServe on school committees; participates in professional development sessionsCollaborate with national Stride efforts including participation in special projects and/or taskforces, developing policies and procedures and training.MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Master’s degree in related field of studyExperience as a school psychologistAbility to Clear required background checkAbility to travel throughout the state to administer assessments and outside of the state for professional development opportunitiesCompensation & Benefits: Stride, Inc. considers a person’s education, experience, and qualifications, as well as the position’s work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value when determining a new employee’s salary level. Salaries will differ based on these factors, the position’s level and expected contribution, and the employee’s benefits elections.
