Position Overview West Virginia University School of Medicine Eastern Division, Department of Pediatrics seeks an Outpatient Pediatric Physician (ranks available: Assistant, Associate or Full Professor). The successful candidate will practice in Morgan County, WV. Location Clinic Address: 2055 Valley Road, Berkeley Springs, WV Work Schedule: Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Call Requirements: After‑hours phone call only EMR: EPIC Providers in clinic: 1 Family Medicine Physician & 1 Family Medicine APP Expected patient volume: 16–18 per day Patient age range: Birth to 24 years Scheduled weekly hours: 40 Shift: Exempt (United States of America) Responsibilities The successful candidate will practice in the areas of Pediatrics. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the candidate will be actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. Qualifications Candidate must hold an MD or DO degree (or foreign equivalent), be licensed by the state of WestVirginia, and have DEA registration in effect by the start date. Successful candidates must have completed a Pediatric residency program and be board certified or eligible in Pediatrics. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
