This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys building processes, partnering with operations, and helping drive business performance.The division specializes in security integration, providing and installing access control systems, surveillance cameras, specialized security doors, servers, and other integrated security solutions for commercial clients. This position will oversee all accounting and financial operations for the division while serving as a trusted business partner to operational leadership.Candidates with experience in specialty contracting, construction, electrical contracting, or similar project-based industries are especially encouraged to apply.Key ResponsibilitiesLead all accounting and financial operations for the divisionOversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reportingPrepare and analyze monthly financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysesPartner with divisional leadership to improve profitability and support strategic decision-makingManage project accounting, revenue recognition, job costing, and work-in-progress reportingMaintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standardsCoordinate with corporate finance on reporting requirements and integration initiativesOversee cash flow, account reconciliations, fixed assets, and general ledger activitiesSupport annual audits and work with external auditors and tax professionalsIdentify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting, and operational efficiencyCompensation & BenefitsBase salary: $110,000–$135,000Performance bonus: 10–15%Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insuranceThree weeks of paid vacationPaid holidaysLife and disability insuranceOpportunities for long-term career growth within a growing organizationHigh-visibility leadership role with significant operational impactTypical QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field5+ years of progressive accounting or finance leadership experienceExperience in construction, specialty contracting, electrical contracting, security integration, or other project-based industries strongly preferredStrong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controlsExperience with job costing, project accounting, and revenue recognitionProven ability to partner with operational leaders and communicate financial results effectivelyAdvanced Excel skills and experience with ERP/accounting systemsCPA or CMA designation is a plus but not requiredStrong analytical, organizational, and leadership skillsApply TodayIf you're looking for an opportunity to take ownership of the accounting function for a growing division while partnering closely with operational leadership, we'd love to hear from you.
