This means stepping in and providing an immediate positive impact to BETA in our march to full production.How you will contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation:Facilitate review of new engineering design for aircraft systemsAnalyze GD&T tolerances to determine design manufacturabilityAnalyze engineering drawings and releases to address errors during engineering release cycle in PLMAssist in the coordination of product lifecycle management from product ideation to change implementation within ERP systemsAssist in defining scope and creation of documentation pertaining to change management and implementationUse and maintain the current ERP system to improve production process and enhance production capability Minimum Qualifications:3+ Years experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment and a degree in an engineering discipline or commensurate experience in manufacturingGeneral understanding of PLM systems such as Smarteam, 3DX, Siemens and ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, Epicor as well as an operational knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5Familiarity with Design for Manufacturability (DFM) analysis principles and their application to engineering change reviewAbility to interpret and extract detailed information from engineering drawings, including tolerances, notes, revision history, and BOM referencesUnderstanding of manufacturing capacity planning and machine shop operations, including machining processes, lead times, and resource constraintsExperience analyzing 3D scan and CMM measurement data to assess dimensional conformance and support engineering change decisions Above and Beyond Qualifications:5+ Years experience in an aerospace manufacturing environmentPlex ERP ExperienceExposure to rapid manufacturing growth, specifically with a startup The wage listed here reflects our best faith estimate for this role.
