CVOR Surgical Technologist

We are seeking an experienced CVOR Surgical Technologist to join our healthcare team. This position involves working closely with surgeons and other medical staff to facilitate effective surgical procedures, ensuring a sterile environment and assisting in the overall workflow in the operating room.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures within the cardiovascular operating room.
• Prepare and maintain a sterile field, ensuring all instruments and supplies are available and operational.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other surgical staff to ensure the best patient outcomes.
• Monitor and manage surgical supplies and equipment efficiently.
• Participate in patient care pre-operatively and post-operatively.

Schedule

The schedule consists of 3 twelve-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM or 4 ten-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM. On-call and weekend availability is required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months of CVOR Surgical Technologist experience within the last 12 months.
• Active BLS certification from an approved vendor (AHA, ARC, or ASHI).
• No violations on the state license to practice.
• Candidate driver's license required for residency verification.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.
