We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Dental Treatment Coordinator to join our dental practice. The Treatment Coordinator plays a critical role in patient care by guiding patients through their treatment plans, ensuring they understand procedures, costs, and scheduling options. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of dental procedures, and the ability to manage administrative tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:- Patient Communication & Coordination
- Explain proposed treatment plans, procedures, and financial options to patients.
- Answer patient questions and address concerns with clarity and empathy.
- Assist patients in scheduling appointments and follow-up visits.
- Financial & Insurance Coordination
- Provide accurate cost estimates for treatment plans.
- Discuss payment options, insurance coverage, and third-party financing.
- Verify patient insurance benefits and obtain necessary pre-authorizations.
- Administrative Duties
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records.
- Coordinate with dentists, hygienists, and front desk staff to ensure smooth workflow.
- Follow up with patients regarding treatment acceptance and appointment reminders.
- Working Conditions:
- Full-time or Part-time schedule.
- Office-based position with patient-facing responsibilities.
- May involve some Saturday shifts depending on clinic hours.
