Perioperative Registered Nurse Opportunity

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide perioperative care in the Operating Room. The role involves supporting surgical procedures and ensuring patient safety throughout the operative process.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients pre-operatively to determine their readiness for surgery.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to prepare the operating room and necessary equipment.
• Monitor patient vital signs and overall condition during surgical procedures.
• Maintain sterile environments and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Document patient information, surgical details, and postoperative care instructions.
• Respond promptly to emergent situations and facilitate effective communication among team members.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse license in good standing.
• Strong clinical experience in perioperative or surgical nursing.
• Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weeknights and weekends.
• CPR and ACLS certification required.
• Knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical equipment handling.
