Logistics Coordinator

Job Description

An employer is looking for a Logistics Coordinator in Merrit Island, Fl. This person will be responsible for Reloading and replenishing hardware on the floor, Forklift operations and receiving shipments. This person will coordinate with the vendors and schedule deliveries across the teams. This person needs to be able to follow SOPs, and work within SAP to close out Purchase Orders. This role will be receiving approximately 50 shipments a day. We need someone with great attention to detail, strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.

Skills and Requirements

1+ years in supply chain, operations, warehousing, inventory control or related experience

1+ years working with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional environment

Attention to detail

Experience w/ an ERP system

Passion for Aerospace

Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays

Ability to pass Kennedy Space Center background checks

Valid Driver’s license and able to satisfy Amazon driver eligibility criteria

Ability to obtain and maintain a US Passport

With or without reasonable accommodations, must be able to lift up to 49 pounds on some occasions, stand/walk for up to 8-10 hours (with breaks), and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach. SAP experience

Experience within aerospace or military

Experience working proactively and independently

Prioritize multiple tasks and assignments effectively

Previous dangerous goods training/knowledge

Experience with and certification to operate forklifts and powered pallet jacks.
